Scholarship for Higher Studies in Delhi: Applications Invited for the year 2012-13



"Malayali Academia Higher Educational Grant (2012-13)'' : Malayali Academia Educational Society invites applications for its educational grant for Malayali Students pursuing their higher education in Delhi. The grant would be exclusively aimed for those students who are economically struggling in their higher studies at the graduate and post graduate levels. Students from Humanities, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences streams can apply for the grant.

Higher Educational Grants Awarded

Dear Friends and well-wishers,

The Executive Committee of MAES is extremely pleased to inform you that the first installment of the Malayali Academia Higher Educational Grant for the academic year 2011-12 has been awarded to the four candidates selected earlier. This installment is for the months from August to December, 2011. Each candidate has thus been awarded Rs. 5000/-, with the total sum awarded amounting to Rs. 20,000/-.

We look forward to your continued support and co-operation in helping us ensure timely payment of the second installment for the year 2011-12 to the selected candidates. Your active participation is also solicited for the future activities of  MAES.

Executive Committee of MAES Expanded

Friends,

The meeting of the Executive Committee held on 2nd January, 2012 has decided to expand the EC so as to facilitate smoother functioning of the MAES. The new members inducted to the EC are: Seema M P, Malavika Binny, Akhilesh Sridhar, Abdul Basith T., Bins Sebastian. Also, the resignation of Rajeesh Kumar  from the post of the Convenor was accepted by the Executive Committee, and T A Aravind was unanimously selected to this post. The Executive Committee also decided that a public programme would be organized in the near future in order to formally launch the MAES in Delhi.
