EC Meeting Decisions

The meeting divided the duties of collecting fund among its members. So as a first step the list of M.Phil/PhD students will be created.  As a working fund each member has to pay 50 rupees.  Sunaina was added as member of executive committee

Scholarship for Higher studies in Delhi: Applications invited for the year 2013-14

"Malayali Academia Higher Educational Grant (2013-14)'' : Malayali Academia Educational Society invites applications for its educational grant for Malayali Students pursuing their higher education in Delhi. The grant would be exclusively aimed for those students who are economically struggling in their higher studies at the graduate and post graduate levels. Students from Humanities, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences streams can apply for the grant.

Interested candidates may download the application form here. The completed form and certificates (mark lists and certificate of Annual income)  should reach the following address: Anjali Devi M, Room. No. 44, Godavari Hostel, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067.

EC MEETING

Dear Friends and well wishers,

Executive meeting held at 2nd September decided to advertise the invitation for application for scholarship of 2013-14 academic year in news papers. November 1 fixed as closing date of application. Rajesh was selected as member of selection committee from outside of executives. It was decided to receive contribution from non-NET research students also. It is fixed as responsibility of Sharon and Rinoj to inform students of Jamia Milliya Islamiyya  and Delhi University respectively.

Higher Educational Grand Awarded 2012-13

Dear Friends and well-wishers,

The Executive Committee of MAES is extremely pleased to inform you that the first and second installment of the Malayali Academia Higher Educational Grant for the academic year 2012-13 has been awarded to the five candidates selected earlier. This installment is for the months from August to December, 2012 and January to May, 2013. Each candidate has thus been awarded Rs. 10000/-, with the total sum awarded amounting to Rs. 50,000/-.

We look forward to your continued support and co-operation in helping us ensure timely payment for the next year 2013-14 candidates. Your active participation is also solicited for the future activities of  MAES.

The GBM held in 25th August, 2013 has decided to Change the EC of MAES in 2012. Chairperson of the committee is Sheron kpr, convener Anjali Devi M, Treseror Balakrishnan P and Exicuttive members are Bins Sebastain, Rinoj N K, Shameer M, Basith, Babitha M B, Ramya P S, Nimmy Indukumar, Rejeesh and Ajith. The Executive Committee also decided that a public programme would be organized in the near future in order to formally launch the MAES in Delhi.
